  12.           +o The Globetrotter FLEXlm Release Notes can now be viewed
  13.             using _r_e_l_n_o_t_e_s(_1) and _g_r_e_l_n_o_t_e_s(_1).  These release
  14.             notes can be found in chapter 7 of this release note.

  17.           +o The FlexLM licensing code uses the stdio functions
  18.             (_f_o_p_e_n(), _f_g_e_t_s(), etc). In some circumstances, a
  19.             process may have more open file descriptors than will
  20.             fit in a FILE structure (field __f_i_l_e; see
  21.             /usr/include/stdio.h for details).  If this happens
  22.             before the licensing calls, acquiring the license will
  23.             fail with the message:

  25.             Cannot find license file (-1,212:2) No such file or
  26.             directory
  27.  
  28.             The only solution is to reduce the number of file
  29.             descriptors in use when licensing calls are made. In
  30.             practice this is only a problem with the O32 (5.3
  31.             compatible) ABI, which uses an _u_n_s_i_g_n_e_d _c_h_a_r to hold
  32.             the file descriptor (fd<=255).
